This picture shows Dr. Wendy Willmore (back row) with six of the current surgical residents, and a few other doctors at the hospital. She works with the Pan-African Academy of Christian Surgeons (PAACS), a non-profit organization that is providing a strategic response to the need for surgeons in Africa. PAACS provides a five-year surgical residency to African physicians who wish to become surgeons. PAACS also disciples these surgeons to share the love of Christ with their patients to bring hope to the sick, the poor, and the suffering.

Wendy is responsible to raise her own financial support. The financial support needed to achieve her missionary goals are approximately $3,500.00 per month that covers the following:
– living expenses, including rent, utilities, food, car, gasoline, insurance, etc.
– security: night guard 12 hours per day, 2 watch dogs, etc.
– professional licenses, insurance, conferences, etc.

Any contributions given over and above Dr. Willmore’s financial needs listed above, goes into a “Compassionate Fund” for the many who genuinely cannot afford the surgical procedures that can save their lives.
